Colorado Attorney General joins others in challenge of Trump’s federal worker buyout plan

Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser on Sunday announced he was joining 20 others to support a challenge to President Donald Trump’s plan to push out federal workers by offering them financial incentives.

DENVER (KDVR) — Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser announced Sunday he was joining 20 others to support a challenge to President Donald Trump’s plan to push out federal workers by offering them financial incentives.

A judge on Thursday temporarily blocked the plan after federal employee unions filed a motion for a temporary restraining order to prevent the plan’s implementation, saying the plan was illegal.
