DENVER (KDVR) — Smoke might be visible to the northeast of Denver during the next week for prescribed burns at the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge.

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service scheduled prescribed burns at the refuge for three weeks in March. The burns started on Monday, March 3, when several Denver residents reported seeing smoke on the northeast side of the city. According to FOX31’s Courtney Fromm, the smoke could be seen as far away as Morrison.
