A retired Amtrak conductor who is also credited with making a business plan that revived the Winter Park Ski Train now has a plan to reduce traffic on Interstate 70.

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (KDVR) — A retired Amtrak conductor who is also credited with making a business plan that revived the Winter Park Ski Train now has a plan to reduce traffic on Interstate 70.

“Our biggest problem in the state of Colorado, I think by far, is congestion on Interstate 70 which decreases economic output at our driving engine of economic success in Colorado which is tourism going into our mountains,” said Brad Swartzwelter.
