Colorado GOP asks US attorney general to review new semiautomatic firearms law

Colorado House Republicans are asking the United States Attorney General’s Office to review the new state law on the purchase of semiautomatic firearms.

DENVER (KDVR) — Colorado House Republicans are asking the United States Attorney General’s Office to review the new state law on the purchase of semiautomatic firearms.

On Thursday, Gov. Jared Polis signed Senate Bill 25-003, “Semiautomatic Firearms & Rapid-Fire Devices,” into law. It will soon require citizens to have a permit and safety training to purchase semiautomatic firearms that have detachable magazines.
