DENVER (KDVR) — Colorado Gov. Jared Polis on Monday took executive action in response to President Trump’s tariff policy Polis says “is causing uncertainty for many key Colorado Industries.”
The executive order “Concerning the State of Colorado’s Response to Increased Costs for Colorado Consumers, Producers, and Manufacturers Stemming from U.S. Tariff Policy” directs the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade to create a task force dedicated to assisting Colorado agencies in developing strategies to reduce tariff impacts and combat uncertainty across different economic sectors.
