On Sunday, the Pitkin County Sheriff’s Office said two stranded climbers called dispatch for help around 4:15 p.m. after they went off the route on North Maroon and ended up north of the peak on Sleeping Sexton in the Maroon‑Bells Snowmass Wilderness.
