DENVER (KDVR) — The United States Air Force Thunderbirds are set to fly in two Colorado areas in September, marking their first appearance in northern Colorado in 30 years.

The Thunderbirds are six fighter jets, the F-16 Fighting Falcon, that perform airshows and flyovers across the country. Between flying formations and solo routines, the performances show the capabilities of the pilots along with the aircraft.
