DENVER (KDVR) — Colorado transportation officials are hoping that free car seat checks and training will help reduce the number of improperly installed or used car seats.
CDOT said that last year, nearly 75% of car seats in Colorado were either installed or used incorrectly, and that car crashes remain one of the leading causes of injury and death for children.
